Updated Visitation Guidelines

As most of you have seen, the COVID-19 virus is on the rise again in the state of Kentucky, along with the new COVID-19 Delta variant. With that being said, we are working diligently to protect your loved ones as well as our staff. Our main goal here at Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation is to care for and protect your loved ones. The facility will still be open for visitation, but we ask that you please follow the guidance below for the sake of everyone’s wellbeing. We are asking everyone to please call ahead to schedule all visits.

Listed below are guidelines CMS and the CDC have recommended for ALL resident visits:

1. All visitors will be screened at the front entrance for COVID 19 symptoms or recent exposure.
2. All visitors will be required to sign an attestation statement regarding their screening.
3. All visitors must utilize hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the facility.
4. Visitors will be REQUIRED to wear a facility provided mask properly, over the nose and mouth, throughout their visit. Even when outside, you will be required to wear a mask.
5. Visitors should continue to adhere to safe social distancing guidelines.
6. Residents will be limited to 2 visitors at a time to allow ample social distancing.
7. Visitors CANNOT visit more than one resident per scheduled time.
8. Visitors CANNOT visit in residents’ room unless the resident’s condition is considered “End of Life” care. That is to be determined by the Administrator and DON.
9. Visitors are not allowed down the hallway of either unit unless escorted. Visitors should remain in the front screening area until they are escorted to the proper visitation area.
10. Visitation is from 8am-8pm. Visits will not exceed 45 minutes in duration unless prior approval has been given.

Failure to comply with CMS and governor guidelines outlined above may prevent future visitations. Please adhere to all guidance to keep you and your loved one safe and healthy.
